Princesa Jaguar awarded first place in FAA's Wildlife in Art 2019 Exhibition
With great honor - I humbly announce that Lee Kromschroeder awarded "Princesa Jaguar" first place in the Foothills Art Association's 30th Annual Wildlife in Art 2019 Exhibition. I am so grateful to have received this award in a field of art typically based on realism and accuracy.
The exhibition coordinators Lee and Debbie Atkins have been the kindest people to work with and as I walked into the gallery, they greeted me and then showed me my prestigious award and place in the exhibition. I was SHOCKED to learn about the award! I have been thankful to participate and be juried into the show for the last 5 years, but never expected to be chosen into the top three works.
This year has been a landmark and groundbreaking year for me. Many things have happened in my art world that I never thought possible. Murals, articles, purchases, public events, donations, international invitations and awards. I am so so thankful and I couldn't do any of this without the support and love of friends, family and art associates. THANK YOU!
